This position provides direct engineering support to the Maintenance & Reliability Organization. Must have hands on experience in fixed & rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, extruders, and other plant-related equipment. Position is the primary reliability resource/support to the daily operation of the plant, including direct support of the maintenance and operations group to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Job knowledge and responsibilities: · Knowledge and understanding of sound engineering practices and principles relating to mechanical equipment. · Knowledge of rotating equipment design, installation and maintenance, including hands on troubleshoots of pumps, compressors and extruders. · Responsible for daily management of predictive maintenance programs including vibration, thermography, lubrication analysis and ultrasonics. · Knowledge of fixed equipment design, installation and maintenance, including tanks, vessels, piping, etc. Tracking and conducting basic root cause investigations of mechanical equipment failures. · Engineering support for rotating and fixed equipment repairs including scope development, field support and documentation as needed. · Reviewing preventative maintenance results and making corrective recommendations. · Responsible cooperation with the process engineering group to populate reliability data. · Responsible for owning local maintenance procedures. · Facility craftsmen training and development.

Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering · Experience in the application of reliability methodologies/technologies, understanding of equipment damage mechanisms. · Must have at least five to ten years of experience in chemical, petrochemical or refining facilities. · Be available to respond to plant emergency and on-call duty. · Must be an excellent communicator and have solid interpersonal skills. · Must be creative and innovative, and demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical, organizational, and planning skills. · Excellent computer, verbal and writing skills, along with computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. · Must be a self-starter · Must be able to handle complex, abstract problems from identification to resolution · Experience with predictive maintenance with Certifications in vibration, oil analysis thermography, etc. · Experience with fixed equipment inspection and repair (including API 510, 570 and 653).

Job Summary: Working with the Regional EHS Manager successfully integrate EHS into the functional operation of the facility by implementing systems, processes and procedures to prevent injuries to our associates and minimize the environmental impact of our operations. This position reports to the Facility General Manager

Job Responsibilities: • Provide local EHS leadership by partnering with operational business functions to enable efficient knowledge transfer of key skills to managers, supervisors and employees • Build effective programs to ensure that all operations are fully compliant with Federal, State and local laws • Implement a comprehensive total facility inspection process to maintain regulatory compliance, ensure continuous improvement and facilitate the transfer of best practices across the business. • Develop and implement local initiatives that provide effective solutions to current, and anticipate, the changing business needs to build and sustain a world-class safety culture • In conjunction with the Regional EHS Manager and business, develop annual safety plans which adequately budget for, and address, the changing needs of the business • Manage and report on established company metrics while developing maintaining regional and local metrics which add value to the operations • Manage relationship with workers compensation, medical resources, and Regional Safety Organization to establish systems which provide appropriate care for associates and support the needs of the business. • Continually seek opportunities to improve the knowledge and skill of the facility supervisors to improve systems and positively impact the safe operations of the business • Implement and actively participate on both local Safety Committee and weekly Workers Compensation conference calls • Provide initial and annual OSHA, required training and maintain all required regulatory recordkeeping processes • Maintain all facility required environmental permitting including but not limited to RCRA/HazWoper, PSM, Stormwater, and SPCC and provide training as required • In conjunction with the Regional EHS Manager develop and implement an Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP) in accordance with OSHA requirements

Job Requirements: • BS/BA in an environmental or safety related discipline strongly preferred • 3+ years direct experience in fast paced, multi-location business environment • Strong management, organizational and communication skills • Proven track record of success through the development of multiple, meaningful, interpersonal relationships through the ability to influence, and skill to coach all levels of the facility • Excellent verbal and written skills as well as proficiency with EHS technology solutions, Microsoft Office Software and data management systems

QUALIFICATIONS • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each above listed duties satisfactorily. • Four year degree required coupled with minimum two plus years’ experience. • CPM or CPIM certification preferred • Lean Manufacturing certification a plus or practical experience implementing Lean concepts in a materials environment. • Proficient skills in MRP Systems (Epicor a plus), and Microsoft Office • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, and customers. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to plant conditions of heat, noise, moving mechanical parts/equipment and outside environment •
